PHOTOSHOP INTENSIVE

The aim of the PHOTOSHOP component in the Full Time Course is to teach students the capabilities of this program and how it can assist in the general day to day workings of a professional photographer. Individual projects are set so that students will learn about the range of techniques offered by PHOTOSHOP and how to be “time effective” whilst using the program. The college uses the most up to date version of PHOTOSHOP in helping students to achieve a creative outcome with their images.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

The knowledge and skills students learn and master during their photographic training may not necessarily enable them to accomplish the success in photography that they would wish for. To achieve success, competence in photography must be combined with the ability to communicate clearly and to take effective action. This aspect of the course will enhance communications skills, develop leadership qualities and assist students in accomplishing projects. Throughout the course students practice their skills in effective communication with the aim of preparing them for the “real world”.
