Welcome Information Continued
The courses incorporate both digital and traditional skills, allowing students to explore their creativity in a wide range of photographic areas. The teaching staff have extensive industry experience along with the personal qualities that are necessary to be effective tutors.
The college’s professional career training course can be undertaken full-time over one year, or part-time over two years, commencing in March each year. Full Time students attending the college have access to modern Digital imaging facilities, four fully maintained darkrooms (Colour and Black & White), as well as two large professionally equipped studios. A comprehensive PHOTOSHOP program, especially designed for photographers, is a major part of the Full-Time course. Full Time students also have use of many different camera formats to help build their photographic skills. Finally in order to maintain a very personalised and effective approach to the study of Photography, the college only offers twelve places each year, in each of the two courses.
