Two years ago I decided to seek a career change. It was time to do something new, to dust off my dreams and see what could be made of them. Photography was my passion and I was envious of those who did what they enjoyed and were getting paid for it... I am fortunate enough to say that I have now joined this illustrious group. For me this decision was made that much easier in knowing that I could fast track my career by undertaking the professional photography course offered by the Brisbane College of Photography and Art. It also provided me great flexibility in being able to complete it part time over two years whilst raising my baby daughter.

The course is an intensely practical insight into the world of photography. The professional skills I gained at the college gave me the confidence to start my own business. The small class sizes offered a highly interactive study environment which fostered a team spirit within the class. Throughout the course, I was challenged and I was pushed out of my comfort zone. But in doing so, I also became inspired and I was determined to produce images which were creative and contemporary.I am grateful to Michael and Samantha for their guidance and support, and for motivating me to strive for excellence.
