This course is designed for students who own a digital camera and would like to learn how to use it to its fullest extent.
The course will commence with all of the functions provided by digital cameras being covered. Care will be taken to address the reasons why the functions are offered and when one might expect to use them. Memory cards will also be discussed along with batteries and the extra features some digital cameras have, such as movie mode.
Once the actual cameras have been covered we will then move into the personal desktop, where we will provide instructions on topics such as: software, hardware drivers, memory card readers, handling digital files, basic editing and manipulation.
Different print options are talked about and the best ways to get the most from your images.
