Throughout the course students are taken through the basic principles of photography, which is designed to ensure accurate advice is given to customers.
The mini lab workflow is also studied in order to create a realistic view of the time management skills required to create a smooth work environment.
All students are required to achieve professional printing standards in their practical exercises during their course. Machine maintenance and dealing with errors are also covered.
Chemical safety requirements are discussed along with mixing and monitoring procedures. Customer relations, marketing and in store management are an integral part of the course.
