Seascape Workshop

Photographic images that succeed usually combine strong visual and technical skills. The aim of this one-day workshop is to link good photographic technique with the act of “seeing”. The land around the waters edge presents the photographer with many opportunities to record textures, patterns, shapes, silhouette’s and colours. An experienced photographic tutor from the college will supervise all participants. Our tutor will encourage participants to observe and control the effect of light on the subject. Helpful suggestions will be offered on composition, exposure, lens choice, depth of field and many other areas of photography.

Please note that this workshop is for people who already have a sound knowledge of their SLR camera. The day will commence at 11.00am with an illustrated tutorial at the College and finish on location around 5.00pm.

Students will need to have their own SLR camera (digital or film) and know how to operate it in manual mode. A tripod and a polarizing filter would also be useful as will sunscreen and insect repellent.

Course Fee is $150.00

(See our TERM DATES for a commencement schedule)

There are only 12 places in this popular one day workshop. Early bookings are advisable. Phone the college on (07) 3666 0267.
